Paul James-Griffiths is the director of Soul of Scotland Tours. He read ancient history and classical studies at University and used to say that anything after Augustine was modern, until he moved to Edinburgh and fell in love with its history and culture. He has worked as a teacher and also as a chaplain for London’s West End theatres where he was also a member of the Actors’ Centre. In 2009 he pioneered Christian Heritage Edinburgh. He has written several books, including A Spiritual History of the Royal Mile and a novel called The Seers, which combines his love of adventure, mystery and Scottish history. He is married to Isolde.
